Just Messin’ has its mats quality-tested by a certified 3rd party lab to ensure that they are safe for children and free from any harmful chemicals like lead, phthalates and BPA. Our mats are strictly compliant with US regulations for children’s products.  They are CPSC certified and free from chemicals on California’s Proposition 65 list.

You can wipe it clean with just warm water or use a mild cleanser.  Most dried glue and paint can be peeled off easily. For loose dry ingredients like glitter or sand, a hand vacuum works best.

The only one we have discovered so far is kinetic or gravity sand. The sand doesn't stick together as intended when used on a silicone mat. We would recommend using one of the many sandboxes sold for use with these sands.
